Modern business requires better tools.
Sometimes all you need is a well-designed SharePoint site.
Other times you need a custom developed app that pulls data from various sources and feeds reports, Tableau, or Spotfire dashboards.
A good Excel spreadsheet can be the way to go.
Often better reports from existing systems are the answer.

We help modern business teams
build better systems and get
the most out of the ones they have.
Every department needs a variety of specialized tools tailored to their unique ways of doing business. Keeping track of the things, events, and activities that make them tick. Directing business processes. Monitoring performance. Reporting ups and downs. Better info to make better decisions.
We work with the largest brands in the consumer and commercial chemical, food, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and manufacturing industries. Most likely you’ve used products that our tools helped produce multiple times today already. Our clients rely on us for systems, tools, and support that gives them a competitive advantage, so they generally ask that we keep our relationships confidential. Think of us as your secret weapon.
Your business department’s needs for a variety of specialized tools tailored to their unique ways of doing business have to be balanced with your IT department’s needs to ensure that all software is safe, secure, and supported. Our Partner IT model bridges that gap by working with both teams to become a trusted resource, bringing specialized systems out of the shadows.
Over the last 20 years we have developed several specialties.
Procurement, Safety, Production, and Global operations departments often look to us for help.

Some of our recent projects have included:
The Procurement and Planning departments at a long-time global manufacturing client in the consumer products industry needed a system to track externally held fixed assets. They needed to enforce a proper workflow for sourcing new assets, support for internal personnel to configure and monitor amortization schedules, and allow suppliers to provide maintenance, production, and scheduling records. We built a system of two custom web apps that integrate with their SAP installation, monitor activity and escalate notifications as needed, and feed a variety of reports. The global rollout to all regions and suppliers went smoothly and their internal audit department loves the newly standardized processes.
A special project team at another client needed a system to help them track internal requests. We developed a SharePoint-based system that uses InfoPath forms to capture the requests, routes them through a triage/service/review workflow, sends appropriate notifications, and captures the end results into a knowledgebase. Video walk-throughs and simple quick-card documents made the rollout go smoothly and a KPI dashboard and pivot table let the team leads keep an eye on performance.
A global pharmaceutical client was transitioning from an older on-premise safety management system to a new cloud-based system. The old system fed a very detailed enterprise dashboard implemented in Spotfire. The new system uses a vastly different organizational structure. We developed a system of database mapping tables, queries, procedures, and functions to standardize the schema needed by the dashboard and merge the data from the new system into the existing feed. This allowed for a smooth transition without disruption to the existing management tools.
A global food brand needed to automate the reporting of safety incidents to their third-party workers comp management service. Their safety management system is hosted in the cloud and the claims service uses a custom platform that requires a standardized data structure. The information to be transferred included sensitive personal information. We developed a system that aggregates incident records that meet the criteria for inclusion, translates them into the standardized structure, and securely feeds them to the service with no added exposure risk.
The operations department at a large filling and packaging facility needed to streamline the way they tracked their production efficiency and the causes of losses across all of their production lines. We worked with a wide cross-section of their workforce to design and build a custom web app that uses an intuitive timeline view to track events down to the second, calculates OEE and loss buckets, and generates reports that support both shift/daily/weekly meetings and corporate management reporting requirements. The rollout went well and the system was widely embraced by all involved. They now have a better insight into their operation and are making decisions that are improving their efficiency.
A manufacturing and research facility needed to modernize their system of tracking wastewater discharge requests against ongoing outputs and regulatory permit limits. The existing system had evolved into a group of linked spreadsheets that were fragile and difficult to work with. We built a new system based on their SharePoint Online and Nintex Workflows platforms that standardizes and simplifies request forms, their review, and administration of supporting data. It also integrates with chemical data from a third-party management service, and includes activity and status reports and notifications. Stats show a major reduction in man-hours to go with the simplification of the overall process.
Several of our global manufacturing clients rely on us for ongoing support of their Safety, Health, and Environment incident management systems implemented in BSI Entropy, EnablOn, and TrackWise. We work with their global, regional, and site management teams to develop reporting and dashboards as well as provide end-user support to ensure proper adherence to the defined business processes. Internal and OSHA auditing has shown the systems that we support to be top performers in their industries.
The global supply chain department at a client in the consumer chemical industry needed a way to consolidate reporting metrics across all of their individual third-party manufacturer extranet sites. The challenge was increased by the complex business process that the department follows and the lack of standardization amongst the hundreds of sites. We developed a custom utility that scans the sites nightly, escalates reports of any data integrity issues found, and generates management reports. This has provided the department directors with the insight they need to focus their efforts most effectively.
A global Safety department, regional real-estate management department, an IT security department, and many others have come to us with the need for a portal/dashboard/home page for their teams. Sometimes these need to be simple gateways with announcements and navigation to departmental resources and other times they need to pull in metrics and KPIs from various sources and display custom infographics. Often they have a concurrent need to improve their document management system. We use SharePoint and/or custom web apps as needed to give their teams the ideal place to find files, locate reports, and stay in touch with the department.
Combining our extensive experience working with safety departments and our strong skills in developing modern user-friendly business tools, our in-house software development team has built a highly efficient tablet-based system for the capture and creation of OSHA Lockout-Tagout procedures with an incredible ROI. To meet the growing demand we’ve created an in-house division specific to LOTO services.
